What to Expect at Your DMV Personal Branding Photo Session
My goal for every DMV BRANDING SESSION is to communicate my client’s authentic brand through a variety of images. In my other business, D2D Creative, we have helped people elevate their brands for over 10 years through stunning website design, video production and branding consultations, so it was natural that I bring my marketing background in to these personal branding photo sessions.
We start with a pre-session questionnaire. Think of this as your pre-work. The personal branding photo session is just part of your service. We want to get you photos that will help maximize your marketing efforts. During our strategy consultation, we really dig in to learn how these photos will have an impact on your business. I ask my clients to consider the following questions:
1. Where will these photos be used? Conference panel bios, LinkedIn, IG, back of a book, website, social media, etc.?
2. What do you want to communicate through the photos? Leadership, fun, power, good energy, etc.
3. What kind of items (props) do you use in your daily life that can help communicate your brand story? (sold signs, laptop, journal, whiteboard)
4. What location(s) speak to your brand?
5. What outfits represent your authentic self?
After our initial call, I begin to research locations, put together a strategic shot list and prop list, etc. A lot of time and effort goes in to these branding sessions, but the end results are truly rewarding. Your investment earns you a gallery full of timeless images that will resonate with your ideal market.
