This DMV maternity session with Margaret and her family was definitely one for the books. As a reflection of her baby’s name, Margaret presented a phenomenal concept. When it comes to these sessions, I am all for out-of-the-box thinking. A unique theme makes for an amazing gallery.
During these sessions, it is normal for us to flow from your outfit of choice. By booking the Maternity Deluxe, Margaret was able to pose with a total of four looks. The jade fabric and textured backdrop above set the tone for this session. It went hand and hand with her concept and made for the most stunning images. I mean, you can not look at them and think anything other than wow! Go ahead, Margaret!
Margaret’s fiery orange two-piece Kente cloth ensemble against the beige and warm-toned faux pampas was absolutely nothing to play with, but can we take a minute to review these silhouettes? The energy this style of posing gives off never ceases to amaze me. They are beautiful to capture, extremely flattering, and truly make your belly the focal point. Images captured in this manner just stop you right in your tracks. When I think of silhouettes, especially in maternity, I think of The Metropolitan.
In addition to her amazing solos, family posing was included in her package. Including your family in these sessions is an amazing opportunity to celebrate this period and preserve all of the happy memories with everyone involved. Margaret and her family were naturals in front of the camera and her baby girl stole the show!
