We saw an uptick in newborns during quarantine. Yet, many parents didn’t opt for newborn photography during the pandemic. A DMV sitter session is perfect for those who didn’t take newborn photos and this looking to capture this big milestone alike.
What is a DMV sitter session?
A sitter session is a photo session that captures your baby when they first start sitting independently. This is a huge milestone during baby’s first year. These session typically take place between baby’s 6-9th month. All babies develop at different stages. We recommend booking you sitter session for 2 weeks after your baby starts sitting. You want to do it once your baby can sit up unassisted, but before they can crawl away! This allows us to sit them on the floor or in a prop and capture adorable images of them looking around and smiling.
We offer 2 DMV sitter photo session packages based on your needs. The photos below are from Baby Charli’s Sitter Experience Session. It is our deluxe package that includes multiple set and outfit changes. At the time of the shoot, Charli was 8 months and had already been sitting independently for over a month. She had also started crawling too as you’ll see in the photos. 🙂
